Kenya is an amazing and beautiful country. Situated in the Loitoktok District in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya is Amboseli National Park. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kenya. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and hippos. The stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen at the National Park. More so, traditional East African sceneries are on display in Amboseli National Park, where Elephants and Giraffes can be seen silhouetted against Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summits. It is well known for its large population of elephants which can be seen bathing in swamps and grazing in the grassland. If you enjoy climbing mountains be sure to visit Asombeli National Park, as you get to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Lewa Downs

Lewa Downs is a wildlife conservancy located in the Laikipia Plateau of Kenya. The Craig or Douglas family established a 16,000-hectare refuge for black rhinos in 1983. The wildlife conservancy has been adding different species for some years now.  Lewa Down is a unique place that people can love to be at. It is a must-visit destination for all the people who would be in Kenya and would love to go to Kenya.

Mount Elgon

One of East Africa’s oldest natural features is Mount Elgon. We regard it as the mountain with the greatest volcanic foundation, and it is 4,321 m above sea level. Mount Elgon is near the border of Kenya and Uganda. More so, Mount Elgon was once the highest mountain in Africa, but erosion and other factors have reduced its height over the years. Mount Elgon experiences wet weather throughout the year, but December to February are typically the driest months. There are various activities for visitors which include, hiking, bird viewing, and mountain biking and camping. Moreover, you also get to see various wildlife animals such as hyenas, buffalos, Elephants, bush pigs, and among others.

Lamu Island

Escape to Lamu Island, a paradise where white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and swaying palms await. The island lies in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Kenya. Furthermore, it is a great place to relax and you also get to meet the friendly people of Lamu. Moreover, Lamu Island is dominated by Swahili Muslim Culture. Visitors on the island can enjoy various activities, such as exploring Lamu town, relaxing on the beach, and diving.
